Mexico Land Card
Recorded Video Script
Planning to visit Mexico? You'll need a Mexico Land Card, officially called the Forma Migratoria Multiple. This card is a paper document you complete when you arrive at a Mexico border crossing or immigration checkpoint. It asks for basic details like your name, passport number, date of birth, the purpose of your trip, how long you'll stay, and your address in Mexico. The land card is not a visa. It simply proves you entered Mexico legally. You can use it to stay in Mexico for up to 180 days for tourism or business. You must keep the card safe because immigration officials may ask for it when you leave the country. If it's lost or stolen, you'll need to get another before departure. And remember, if you plan to stay longer than 180 days or for other purposes like work or study, you must apply for the right visa ahead of time.
