Documents Required for Mexico Land Card/SAE
Both entry documents require the same document for the application.
Passport Biopage Scan
- Submit a clear scan of your passport bio-data page.
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your intended date of entry in Mexico.
- The scan must show all details, including the MRZ code, without blur or cropping.
Additional Requirement: Brazil Nationals Applying for Mexico SAE
This applies only to applicants holding a Brazilian passport who are applying for the Mexico SAE.
If you hold a Brazilian passport and are applying for the Mexico SAE, you must submit a digital applicant photo in addition to your passport biopage scan.
Applicant Digital Photo
- Submit a clear digital photo, taken recently, on a plain white background.
- The photo must be free of shadows and glare.
- Your full face must be clearly visible with a neutral expression.
- Religious head coverings are permitted. The face must remain fully visible from the forehead to the chin.
How Your Documents Are Reviewed
- After you submit your application, the review team checks each document for clarity and completeness. They confirm that all submissions meet Mexico entry requirements.
- If any document has an oversight, you will receive a notification with the specific correction required.

- Do not enter personal details that differ from your passport.
- Upload only clear, readable document scans.
- Do not submit a passport that is expired or expiring within 6 months of your entry date.
- Respond to all corrections or document requests promptly.
